Omar was shocked early in the morning when ZEC officials failed to find his name in the voters' roll at Chatagwi Primary School and he proceeded to Vilivilli Primary School where he was again missing in the roll.
ZEC officials then referred him to Muzhanjire Primary School about 20km away from Vilivilli where he finally managed to cast his vote after two hours of searching his name at other centres.
After casting his vote, Omar told TellZim News that he was smelling victory.
He said it was time for the people of Mwenezi to prepare for a new chapter in as far as development is concerned.
"This is the day I was waiting for. I am ready to develop Mwenezi East.
"We have opened a new chapter in as far as development is concerned," said Omar.politics, topnews
