10 April 2017, The Traffic Safety Council of Zimbabwe (TSCZ) Masvingo branch has temporarily moved its offices from its premises at 244/245 Simon Mazorodze Street near Food Express to number 515 Greenfield Street near ZESA workshop with effect from April 1, this year.
The move was made to pave way for renovations which are underway with plans in place to notify the public as soon as they are ready to move back.
TSCZ Product Development and Marketing Manager Ernest Muchena assured the public that goal remains the same, which is the fight for road safety.
"We have just moved due to renovations and we will go back to our premises as soon as they are done. We would also like to notify the public that nothing has changed, the services will remain the same and we will advise on any new development," said Muchena.
Muchena also took time to remind drivers, prospective drivers, pedestrians, cyclists, passengers, drovers and animal herders about the upgraded Highway Code which now includes the SADC road signage regimen.
The SADC road signage system will be launched in Harare on Thurday April 6, 2017.
"The public should take note of the upgraded Highway Code and should contact any Traffic Safety Council of Zimbabwe Offices, VID Offices or driving schools nearest to them for more information on the new road signs," he added.local
