Ndarama Government High School hoisted the Masvingo Urban academic flag high at 'A' level with a whopping 98.5 percent pass rate.
The school has set a new 'A' level record for day school with its 35 pupils who obtained between 13 and 20 points from the 137 who sat for the exams in November 2017.
Three Ndarama High School pupils scored 20 points, three emerged with 19 points, one with 17 points, two with 16 points, four with 15 points, seven with 14 points and 15 with 13 points.
The 20 pointers are Charline P. Chikomo, Jean Zulu and Believe Mhanga.
The highest in humanities are Chikomo who obtained A in Shona, A in Geography, A in Divinity and A in History. Anna Chabata got A in Literature, A in History, A in Shona and A in Divinity.
The champion in Commercials is Mhanga who produced an A in Geography, A in Economics, A in Mathematics and A in Business Studies. On second position is Barnabas Muzenda who obtained B in Economics, A in Mathematics, A in Accounting and A in Business Studies.
Tinotenda C. Kwaramba, Gift K. Kwaramba, Brian Mafa and Yvette P. Mutenheri obtained As in all the three subjects that each of them sat for.
"We are happy that we have registered a massive improvement in line with our goal of beating our previous best. We are happy with the results and they are serving to motivate us to keep on working hard going forward," said Ndarama High School head, Shirley Makausi.education
